  • Recruitment & HR Advisor
    As a Recruitment & HR Advisor you will be providing support to the Operations Director, Human Resources Manager, and Penso workforce, in the delivery of corporate and business objectives. You will also support the business to incorporate robust Recruitment and HR processes. You will ensure all recruitment and HR activities are compliant with employment law, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business.The key responsibilities within this role include: complete management recruitment process from vacancy briefings, CV shortlisting, through to carrying out interviews with hiring managers and job offers; and providing support to the hiring manager through the whole process. You will be actively head hunting candidates using tools such as LinkedIn and maintaining the internal applicant database. The Advisor will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on all aspects of HR to managers and employees – to include but not limited to Absenteeism/Recruitment/Performance management, and ensuring TS16949 compliance across the HR function.

    Essential skills include: previous experience working in a recruitment role, either internally or externally, along with experience working in fast paced HR generalist role. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills, a real passion for exceeding customer and colleague expectations, be well organised and able to work with minimal supervision.

    Desirable skills include: automotive/Manufacturing industry experience and holding a full driving licence as work off site may be required to fully support the business


  • Engineer – SQA
    We are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineer – SQA to join our busy Quality team at our Head office in Coventry. We offer individuals the chance to be part of a 21st century manufacturing operation, with each employee receiving a dedicated training plan and career path

    • Assess and approve existing and new suppliers,
    • Improve quality and manufacturing processes using a structured approach.
    • Support the purchasing team with technical knowledge and guidance as to suitability of suppliers to meet the changing needs of the company and its customer base.
    • To be key liaison person between suppliers, manufacturing, purchasing and engineering (where necessary) to achieve desired outcomes.
    • Work closely with Warranty and the Quality Team, Goods Inwards Inspection, Manufacturing Engineering.

    Essential Skills include:

    • Experienced quality engineer who is comfortable and confident with suppliers
    • A good team player with excellent verbal and written skills
    • Good working knowledge of ISO9001/TS16949.

    Desirable Skills include:

  • Engineer – Quality
    We are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineer – Quality to join our busy Quality and Warranty team at our Head office in Coventry. We offer individuals the chance to be part of a 21st century manufacturing operation, with each employee receiving a dedicated training plan and career path. The key purpose of the role is to ensure the project quality deliverables are completed to a high standard in line with the overall project timing.

    • Work with the project, manufacturing and supplier teams to plan, define and execute project quality objectives and deliverables.
    • Qualify customer’s specific instructions and ensure they are applied and adhered to, on time, within the scope of the project
    • Liaise with and where necessary coordinate project team members to ensure that quality data is available and presented in line with overall project timing
    • Produce timing plans and metrics that allow the progress of quality objectives to be monitored
    • Chair project quality meetings with team members to ensure quality objectives are understood and achieved generating minutes and actions.
    • Generate PPAP and PSW documentation as required
    • Provide input into engineering regarding quality issues and report upon engineering output against quality target.
    • Chair and coordinate 8D corrective and preventive actions

    Essential Skills include:

    • Degree qualified in Engineering or relevant subject
    • Ability to produce clear and accurate technical reports to an extremely high standard
    • PPAP & PSW experience

    Desirable Skills include:

    • SPC / MSA training / experience.

  • Engineer – QMS
  • The key purpose of this role is to ensure that the QMS is structured, documented, maintained, audited and continually improved to the highest possible standard.
    • Documenting and maintaining the Quality and Environmental Management Systems to the required standards
    • Creation, Monitoring and Maintenance of the procedures referenced within the Quality and Environmental Management System
    • Plan and perform audits, recording both successes and failings in order to implement best practice
    • Implement and aid to implement continual improvements to the Quality and Environmental Management Systems and all other business working practices
    • Provide relevant quality training to internal personnel
    • Produce policies and procedures
    • Create Quality KPI’s to monitor and demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems

    Essential skills include:

      • Previous experience in a similar role at the same level. Within Production / Quality engineering within a fast paced, forward thinking automotive or similar environment
      • Proven track record in problem solving and development and implementation of new processes within a design and manufacturing environment
      • Experience / qualification in auditing to TS16949 standards
      • Experience / qualifications in automotive core tools APQP, MSA, PPAP, SPC & FMEA

    Desirable skills include:

      • Degree/HNC qualification or equivalent in Quality / Mechanical engineering or other closely related area
      • Knowledge of SHE legislation
