  • Engineer – Composite Analysis, Design and Test
    The key purpose of this role is to produce and manage the generation of accurate simulation data, in order to assist in the design cycles for internal and external customers.

    Key responsibilities of the role will include; meshing and assembly of FE models to internal or customer-specific model quality guidelines using pre-processing software, including application of suitable material models, loads and boundary conditions.

    You will be interpreting, using appropriate static and dynamic analysis software packages, to solve problems involving linear elastic and non-linear elastic/plastic material models, small and large deformation behaviour, and contact. The successful candidate will present analysis results to internal and external customers, providing recommendations on possible design optimisation to save weight and/or improve performance.

    Essential skills include holding a degree in engineering or maths/physics or higher, relevant simulation experience in a previous role, NVH or Durability experience and a knowledge of core FEA codes. You will also have need software programming ability and communication skills should be second to none.

    The desirable candidate will have knowledge of ANSA and Meta.

  • Senior Engineer – Composite Analysis, Development and Test
    The key purpose of this role is to produce and manage the generation of accurate simulation data, in order to assist in the design cycles for internal and external customers.

    Key responsibilities of the role will include; assisting in the preparation of analysis quotations to customers, meshing and assembly of FE models to internal or customer-specific model quality guidelines using pre-processing software, including application of suitable material models, loads and boundary conditions.

    You will be interpreting analysis results, using post-processing software, formally documenting analysis methodology, results and conclusions within analysis reports where required. The successful candidate will present analysis results to internal and external customers, providing recommendations on possible design optimisation to save weight and/or improve performance.
