Graduate Engineer – Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineering (EESE)

Full time, (40 hours per week, Mon to Fri)

The key purpose of this role is to develop new analogue electronics and embedded control systems hardware, manage changes in existing embedded control systems’ hardware and software, and project manage new and existing analogue and digital electronics projects .

The key responsibilities of the role will include; developing specifications from customer requirements, to work closely with system designers and harness designers to deliver high quality, cost effective analogue and digital electronics and embedded control systems. You will be managing documentation as part of the change management process for existing systems, specifying test plans for developed systems, and completing design verification and function sign off in line with project deadlines.

Essential skills for this role include; relevant qualification in a electronics/electrical subject and experience in analogue and digital electronics design – full cycle. You will be familiar with 8 and 16 bit processors, Cost effective PCB layout and EMC design and C / C++.

It would be advantageous to be trained in Matlab/Simulin/Stateflow and awareness of ISO26262


Chief Programme Engineer – Consulting

Full time, (40 hours per week, Mon to Fri)

The Chief Programme Engineer – Consulting, will be responsible for the management of all projects within consulting, including, timing, delivery and cost.

Key responsibilities for the role include; overseeing the delivery of multi-sector OEM contracted engineering projects, this will include: cost, quality, timing, delivery, resources and profitability. You will be leading and mentoring a team of project managers to ensure delivery of projects within their control and ensure that all projects have Purchase Order coverage for the correct value as per the Penso quotation and negotiations.

As Chief Programme Engineer you will be managing, monitoring and controlling the timing and delivery of each project according to quoted deliverables and OEM gateway requirements, liaising with core engineering management to set expectations, review objectives and ensure appropriate deployment of project resources.

In this role you will also be supporting the Marketing & Sales department in exploring new opportunities and the construction of quotations, ensuring that your team upholds Penso’s IATF16949 accreditation and other specific Penso systems.

Essential skills include, being degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject. You will have managed either a full vehicle programme or system/sub system through to launch and have significant Project Management experience and have used Project Management systems.
